Let’s be honest. I am a complete disaster in the kitchen. And I mean that sincerely. I once lost a roast while it was in the oven. Consequently, I avoid cooking at all costs. However, there is one thing I can do in the kitchen: make cocktails. And when I entertain, I love making a signature drink that fits the occasion.

That’s where my Viski Footed Glass Punch Bowl comes in. This modern punch bowl has become my go-to for every holiday dinner, party, and gathering I host. Furthermore, it does something a regular punch bowl simply cannot — it makes the whole table look intentional. Keep reading, because this little investment might just become your favorite entertaining secret too.

What Is the Viski Footed Glass Punch Bowl?

Not all punch bowls are created equal. In fact, most of them look like they belong in a church basement circa 1987. The Viski is different. Therefore, it deserves its own category.

Here’s what you need to know:

Size: 2.5 gallon capacity — plenty for a crowd

Height: 7 inches tall

Width: 12 inches across

Material: Heavy base crystal clear glass

Design: Elegant angled bowl on a footed base

Price: $59.99 on Amazon

The footed base is what really sets this modern punch bowl apart. It elevates the bowl visually and creates the perfect space underneath to tuck in decorative greenery, garlands, or seasonal florals. Consequently, the whole setup becomes a centerpiece, not just a drink dispenser. I get compliments on it every time I use it.

Why I Love This Modern Punch Bowl

It’s Stunning

Presentation matters when you’re entertaining. Furthermore, when guests walk in and see a gorgeous glass punch bowl filled with a jewel-toned signature cocktail, floating fruit, and a beautiful ice ring — it sets the tone for the whole evening. This bowl delivers that every single time.

It Holds a Crowd

At 2.5 gallons, this punch bowl is generous. Additionally, it handles large batches of cocktails with ease. I use it for holiday dinners, Christmas parties, bridal showers, progressive dinners, and any time I’m hosting a group. If you want to see it in action at a bridal shower, check out my Bridal Shower Survival Guide for the full scoop — including a signature punch recipe that is always a hit.

The Footed Base is a Game Changer

Most punch bowls sit flat on a table. This one sits up on an elegant footed base. Therefore, you can dress it up underneath with seasonal greenery, eucalyptus, holiday garland, or even fresh flowers. The result is a centerpiece that looks polished and intentional. Meanwhile, your guests are refilling their glasses and asking for the recipe.

Storage is Simple

When it’s not in use, the Viski punch bowl goes right back into the box it came in. Consequently, it doesn’t take up much space at all. For something this elegant, that’s a huge bonus.

Elevate It Further: Ditch the Plastic Cups

Now, listen. I am a huge fan of Solo cups. They absolutely have their place — next to a keg of beer in the garage or around a campfire with good friends. Nobody is judging that. However, if you are serving a beautiful signature cocktail out of an elegant glass punch bowl, plastic cups are going to break the spell.

Instead, I use Cadamada 13oz Stemless Glasses. They are elegant, heavy-based, dishwasher safe, and I get compliments on them every time I pull them out. Additionally, they work beautifully for whiskey, cocktails, scotch, and juice — so they pull double duty well beyond party night.

A set of 12 runs just $24.99 on Amazon. Therefore, the upgrade is very affordable.

These Cadamada glasses are giving very “I have my life together” energy — perfect for serving punch, cocktails, or just sparkling water you’re pretending is champagne.

Make It Festive: The Ice Ring

One of the best things you can do for a punch bowl presentation is skip the regular ice and make an ice ring instead. Not only does it look stunning, but it also keeps your punch cold without watering it down — as long as you make it with juice instead of water.

How to Make an Ice Ring

What you need:

A bundt cake pan or ring mold

Cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, or any juice that matches your punch

Fresh or frozen cranberries, fruit slices, or rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions:

1. Fill your bundt pan about halfway with juice.

2. Add your garnishes — cranberries, citrus slices, rosemary sprigs, or whatever fits your theme.

3. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.

4. When ready to serve, run warm water briefly over the outside of the pan to release the ring.

5. Float it directly in your punch bowl.

Pro tip: Because the ring is made with juice instead of water, it won’t dilute your punch as it melts. Furthermore, it adds a little extra flavor. This is the move.

Seasonal Punches I’ve Made in This Bowl

Christmas: Cranberry Pomegranate Prosecco Punch

For Christmas, I make a gorgeous deep red punch with cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, vodka, lemon juice, and Prosecco. I top it with a cranberry and rosemary ice ring that looks absolutely stunning floating in that clear glass bowl. Additionally, the juice-based ice ring keeps everything cold without watering it down. It is festive, beautiful, and dangerously easy to drink. You can find the full recipe here Santa Claus Christmas Punch — I follow it closely and it never disappoints.

Fall: The Best Fall Punch

For fall entertaining, I planned ahead and made ice cubes in pumpkin ice molds beforehand, then stored them in this CHEFBEE Stainless Steel Ice Bucket. When it was time to serve, I dropped those little pumpkin ice cubes right into the glasses. The effect was absolutely adorable and completely on theme. I use these pumpkin molds and they work perfectly. The full fall punch recipe I love can be found here Best Fall Punch Recipe — it’s apple cider based and a total crowd pleaser.
